I woke up today, and all of a sudden, it felt like winter outside! Even though it’s still October, the temperatures are dipping into the low 30s this weekend, and there might even be snow. And all these crazy weather patterns have got me craving hot apple cider. Hot apple cider (spiked with whiskey if you’re feeling sassy) is one of those drinks that I don’t think about at all…until the mercury starts to drop.
Providing hot apple cider at a fall or winter wedding is one of my favorite ways to warm up guests. It can be served both with and without alcohol, so that all all of your guests can enjoy it. Use a cute slice of apple or a cinnamon stick to garnish, and you’re ready to go. As a bonus, you can keep serving the drink all night long, since it works well with dessert too!
